Cube Guru

Privacy Policy

Short version: Cube Guru collects no data about you. The camera is used only when you scan your cube, and its images never leave your iPhone.

Effective 5 November 2026. This policy covers the Cube Guru app for iPhone (on the App Store as "Cube Guru: Learn & Solve") and this website, both published by Tappy Game ("we").

What the app collects

Nothing. The app has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party SDKs that collect data. It does not send your data to us or to anyone else, and it does not ask for your contacts, photos, location or microphone. On the App Store, its privacy label is "Data Not Collected".

The camera (Scan my cube)

Scan my cube reads the colours of your real cube. The camera turns on only when you choose Scan my cube, and iOS asks for your permission the first time. While you scan, the app reads each camera frame in your iPhone's memory and keeps only the 54 averaged sticker colours it needs; when the scan ends, the camera turns off. No photo or video is saved, and no image or colour is sent anywhere. If you say no, or turn camera access off later in the Settings app, you can paint your cube by hand instead.

What stays on your device

Your stats (times, averages, streaks), your last solve's replay, your Trainer progress and your settings are saved in the app's own storage on your iPhone. We cannot see them. They are removed when you delete the app, and they may be part of your device backup, which Apple's backup settings control.

Game Center

If you are signed in to Game Center, the game sends your official solve times, your daily streak and your achievements to Apple's Game Center service so that they appear on leaderboards and in the Games app. Apple handles that data under Apple's Privacy Policy; we do not receive your personal information. Game Center is optional: you can sign out of it in your iPhone's Settings.

This website

This site uses no cookies, no scripts, no analytics and no trackers. It is served by Cloudflare Pages; like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.

Children

Because the app collects no data, it collects no data from children either.
